Sunday Morning…4-6-25

Sunday mornings are fast and furious. Up, getting ready for church and then either going to pick up the grandson or getting him ready, if he has spent the night. If I have Children’s breakfast, Children’s Church, or my husband has security, we are getting ready for that with cooking and necessary materials. We get to church and unless I work in the sound room, phones stay in the car. That’s our time in worship and phones are not included. This day is my favorite. I look forward to the Sunday School lesson, worship music, and the message. I look forward to seeing our friends and serving.

Hebrews 10:24-25 states “And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.” I know I used this verse yesterday, but it needed to be added.

You see, during pandemic many people quit going to church. Sadly, many didn't come back to attendance after pandemic was over. Church attendance nationwide declined. For my family and I, it was the opposite. We began to appreciate the service and fellowship. We developed a new appreciation of “as you see the day drawing near”. Our church is growing and the Lord is working.

I do believe the day of the Lord’s return will be soon. What a wonderful day that will be. Are you ready?
