Reaching Others…4-27-25

I have told anyone who asked that putting this blog out for everyone was God-led. I also tell them that I am certain there is someone that it is meant to touch, strengthen, or comfort in some way. Oh, I am fullly aware that it is also a journey for me. But I know there is a purpose for someone else.

That being said, sometimes I get discouraged when I know it isn’t being viewed by very many. But, as my youngest reminded me, it is about the one who needs it and they will find their way to it. Yesterday, I was reminded of this.

I have found comfort in looking up more scriptures, the meaning behind why God directs in a certain way, searching commentaries, and above all praying to God about what today will bring. I find it is always somewhere in my mind. I have found a closer walk.

I know you ask, “Do you have a life?” Oh yes, most of yesterday was spent on a rare farm work day where we worked on a fence repair. I still work outside the farm and so does our oldest, so these are rare where we can spend all day working on the farm. Working alongside my husband to help him accomplish something is a blessing. Today, after church and before evening service, we vaccinate cows again. Yes, I have a busy life.

Reaching Others while Finding-my-voice is a journey. Yesterday, I know it reached two people. It renewed their confidence, and reminded them of God’s love and promises in parts of their life. I know this because one told me He needed this and sent it to the other. He read it as well and confirmed it was his reminder to keep going. 1 Thessalonians 5:11, “Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.”

As I’m typing, my husband and I are sitting in our swings on the front porch. The wind is blowing and we are drinking our coffee. He played “Mansion Over the Hilltop”. I sing along and tears roll. Hebrews 13:16 says, “And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.” I’m sharing in every way I can and my words are one of those. Thank you, Lord, for my many blessings. Amen
