My husband has started watching cat/baby videos. The cat and baby look at each other and then begin to laugh hysterically. He watches and laughs along. It is quite amusing, and I can’t help but laugh at this hilarity.

Proverbs 17:22 states, “A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.” In this verse, Solomon reminds us that our outlook, our attitude affects us. A joyful outlook is like good medicine; it heals.

Think about Paul, he chose to be joyous in his circumstances, even imprisoned. Philippians 4:4 says, “Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!” Have you ever known someone who walks around like the world is coming to an end this very minute and doesn’t know where they are going? If they knew, they would be rejoicing, not downcast.

So I will laugh with the cat/baby videos and my husband. I will rejoice in my Savior, and I will have a merry heart. What about you?
