Failure Is Never Final…

Sometimes we just fail. Plain and simple. No excuses, life just happens and we fail. Yesterday was one of those days. We got up, went to church, rushed home to eat, and vaccinate our final herd of cattle. It was a flop from the get go. Everything went wrong and then finally after two cows, the injector broke. It is glass and cannot be fixed. We tore all the wormer and injector apart to clean and let the cows out. After years of doing this, you know when it just isn’t working.
Now some might not call this a failure, but it is. We all failed in some way and not one of us was to blame for the whole catastrophe that happened. Some of us handle failure well and some do not. I have failed so many times at so many things that I am the Pollyanna. I am the “We tried, we will regroup and try again”person. I see the good, the light at the end of the tunnel, and am convinced that it will all work out. Because failure is never final. It is truly a part of our life that teaches us and through each failure, we grow.
Proverbs 24:16 says, “for though the righteous fall seven times, they rise again, but the wicked stumble when calamity strikes.” Here is where my husband would say he has reached seven times seventy and he is ready not to fall. However, we all know the point here is that we rise again. Oh, but we don’t rise alone.
