Bread
Bread

I've been trying to learn to make bread. So far the white bread is okay, but the sourdough has not been successful. It has become quite a lot of baking with the animals becoming the benefactors of multiple loaves. My husband has had a good time lamenting about the poor birds, and I'm not sure the neighbor's dog will be back after my leftovers have turned to sour bread.

Romans 8:28 "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose". Now I know what you are thinking here, making bread and God's purpose of providing for us. Yes, making bread can be in God's plan for me. Then again, maybe it's not.! But the point is that we are not afraid to do things knowing that no matter how big or small they are to others, God cares for us in all things. He wants to know the desires of our heart. This may be making bread, going to college, having a family, or buying a house. It doesn't matter how great or small, our Father cares about what we want and need. Yes, I will continue to try to make bread. I just hope the neighbor's dog doesn't gain too much weight, because she will be back and there will be leftovers.
