Slow...

This guy came up last year before the winter. I watched his progress throughout the day. It was a good distance from our pond to our house. He would stop, rest and eat, then continue his journey. Eventually he reached his destination, You see, turtles hibernate through a process called brumation. They find a suitable place, bury up, and wait. Some travel up to a mile. Their travel is slow, but their destination is purposeful.
I have always been in awe of nature. God's hand is evident and only He would have ensured that a turtle can survive a cold long winter and emerge in the spring renewed with a purpose.
Ecclesiastes 3:1, "There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens." Just like God prepared the timing for the turtles, He has a timing for you. The process may seem slow, but the destination is mighty. Seek His face and Be Still.
